それなりにいわくのある作品です。むかしArtmicやDartsで仕事をさせて頂いた時にComicNoisyと言う雑誌に関わっていたのですが、これにファム&イーリーの原作者、田中さんが参加していました。それ以前にもむかしガルフォース系の同人誌で田中さんの絵に出会ったのを覚えています。
    本編自体、第1話がRPGマガジンに掲載されたのを読んだのを記憶しています。今回この翻訳をする上で原作の単行本が手元にあったのは大変ありがたい限りでした。ただこの単行本、第一巻しかありませんでしたが…。
    アニメの監督はもり・たけしさんですが、これまたキャラクターのやり取りに力を入れていたみたいで、けっこう意識させられました。

呪文
呪文は翻訳するのが楽しいです。普段英語の古い表現は使う機会が余りないので、呪文の時はかなり活用します。英語だけでもよく間違えるのに古い英語なるとすぐにぼろが出てしまいますが、それでも翻訳して楽しかったです。
The spells were fun translating.  I don't have much chance to use old English like I can with
spells.  I'm afraid my skills in illiteration in old English is even worse then my English but it
still was fun.
